Experience
- Proven critical care experience within a PICU or similar acute care setting is essential; experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers is highly valued.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation.
- Strong background in pediatric nursing with familiarity in pediatric-specific procedures like tube feeding, neonatal ventilator management, or pediatric trauma medicine.
- Experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, and adolescents; familiarity with neonatal ventilators is a plus.
- Knowledge of infection control practices, HIPAA compliance standards, and ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for precise documentation.
- Ability to perform advanced nursing skills such as IV insertion, venipuncture (phlebotomy), airway management, and aseptic technique in high-pressure situations.
- Prior exposure to emergency room procedures or hospital medicine environments that require rapid assessment and intervention is preferred. Join us in delivering exceptional pediatric critical care!
