Location: Chapel Hill, NC (onsite; transitioning to Timberlake, NC mid-year)
Schedule: Full-time | Non-Exempt
About the Role:
Were looking for a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Coordinator to join our team! In this role, youll support daily HR operations, including pre-employment screenings, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee services. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy creating a smooth, professional experience for employees, wed love to meet you.
What Youll Do:
- Manage pre-employment screenings (background checks, drug tests, reference checks)
- Coordinate onboarding and new hire documentation (I-9, E-Verify, tax forms)
- Assist with benefits enrollment and open enrollment processes
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and employee files
- Support HR audits, reporting, and communications
What Were Looking For:
- 2 years of HR experience in onboarding, screenings, or benefits support
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Must be onsite daily
Preferred:
- Experience with Workday or similar HCM
- Prior experience supporting benefits processes
