Volt is immediately hiring for a Tool Crib Attendant in South Gate, CA

As a Tool Crib Attendant, you will:

• Manage the issuance and return of tools, calibrated measuring instruments, equipment, and consumables to production and quality teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic records using inventory and crib management systems (e.g., Cribware)
• Generate reports for upcoming calibration due dates and tools currently checked out.
• Support regular cycle counts and physical inventories while maintaining accurate perpetual inventory records
• Inspect tools and equipment for wear or damage and escalate concerns to supervisors
• Perform basic tool maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, minor repairs, labeling, and identification
• Assist with locating missing tools and ensuring overall accountability
• Work with barcoding systems and automated/vending tool machines

This is a full-time, contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Basic experience in a tool crib, tool room, warehouse, manufacturing, or quality support environment
• Familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments, and general shop equipment
• Comfort using computers for logging, reporting, and inventory tracking

• Experience with barcoding systems or automated tool dispensing machines
• Prior inventory control or materials handling experience

Shift : 2^ND Shift-  2pm-10:30pm (Tuesday -Saturday) & 3^rd shift - 10pm-6:30am (Sunday-Thursday)

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
