Volt is hiring a Design Engineer for our client in Brimfield, Illinois. In this role you will aide in the development of specialized industrial equipment for steel, construction, and mining industries.

As a Design Engineer, you will :
Prepare design 3D-CAD models, sketches, and detailed drawings of assemblies and sub-assemblie
Participate in design reviews
Manage design costs and manufacturability
Provide timely, accurate engineering information within other business units
Offer input for updating department standards and procedures
Utilize existing designs, reference material, or standards to develop designs
Complete appropriate confirming calculations to size components for fit and function
Revise prior designs to bring them up to date with new guidelines and stand
This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.
The Ideal Candidate will have :
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
Modeling experience (i.e. SOLIDWORKS, Creo, Pro-E, Unigraphics, Siemens NX)
Experience with construction, mining, or off-highway equipment highly desired
s between $75-$80000 per year.
