What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager position at Volt?
Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Finance Manager
Position type : Full-time- Contract
Duration : 06 Months
Location : Phoenix, AZ
As a Finance Manager you will :
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Maintain Product Costs in Oracle
- OPM management (Copy costs, close WIP batches, run pre-processor, create accounting, and open Orgs)
- Update Source Org Rollup in OPM, Check for Inventory Mfg. Errors, Inventory management
- Support the Site MRB Review process
- Perform Inventory write-offs & reserves analysis and highlight potential risks
- Perform quarterly 3rd party WHSE visits, inventory count audits and monitor WHSE cycle counts
- Material disposals / destructions periodic controls verification
- Manufacturing overhead and absorption tracking and monthly closing
- Manufacturing variance analysis, WIP analysis, PPV analysis
- Headcount and Department Expense Tracking / Reporting
- Coordinates and record spending accruals for MRO, services and utilities.
- Participates in Business Unit meetings and Tiers, prepares financial results package and cost data for discussion
- Works with business leaders to establish reporting and provide analysis that will assist operations in achieving and help drive performance.
- Fixed Assets & Capital reporting (CIP review, fixed asset reporting, depreciation calculations)
- Fixed Assets reporting (CIP, Spending, Capitalizations, Project Closings)
- CIP Reviews, Depreciation calculation & tracking
- Annual Idle Fixed Assets Review
- Payroll to GL review / reconciliation
- Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations
- Budget / Projections : Responsible for select departments
- Assists with internal and external audits, as needed.
- Represents Finance in the site's forums / meetings and shares financial results.
- Assists and supports Operational Excellence and other areas with the calculation of financial impact on opportunities
- Maintain internal control procedures as well as ensure compliance with SOX
