CAAs a Automation Specialist 3rd shift you will:Job DescriptionDay to Day ResponsibilitiesMaintains and provides troubleshooting of plant automation systems and assists in the implementation of new automation projects.Assists Engineering with updates, changes and testing of new modificationsPerforms periodic maintenance of automation control systems and hardwarePerforms troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation issues for the site packaging and process equipment, transfer system, ancillary facility equipment and building automation systemsMonitors and documents quality measures using analytical toolsPrioritizes safety, follows all safety guidelines, and helps others do the sameFollows all safety rules and procedures, including PPE and Lock Out Tag OutEnsures product quality by following safety, manufacturing, and quality standardsPerforms other duties as needed in support of business objectivesThis is a full-time 6 month opportunityThe ideal candidate will have:Required skills & QualificationsMinimum High school diploma/GED, US military service or equivalentRelevant experience in similar industry (3 Years)Proficiency with one or more SCADA/HMI development software suitesAble to use test instruments and read schematics and technical drawings correctlyProficiency with industrial automation programming including but not limited to: PLC ladder logic modification, troubleshooting, and one or more Rockwell PLC programming languagesMin 3 years of knowledgeable with Rockwell Automation products such as PLC’s, VFD’s, Servo’s, and field instrumentation devicesProficiency with common process control instruments such as motor drives, valves, relays and measurement transducers for pressure, temperature, and flow as well as other sensor devices requiredUnderstands industrial networking and hardware, including fiber, wired, and wireless systems using protocols like ControlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, ASI, and ModbusFamiliar with physical and virtual server architecturePreferred Skills & QualificationsAssociates degree or direct relevant experience in any of the following fields / areas: Industrial ControlsIndustrial AutomationInstrumentationComputer ScienceNetwork Architecture or InfrastructureAbility to work flexible shifts to support business needsAbility to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writingKnowledgeable with AC/DC theory, Ohm’s Law, transformers, power supplies and troubleshootingFamiliarity with ANSI/ISA S88 standardsKnows food safety rules and standards (FDA, GFSI) and has experience with certifications like BRC or SQFInterpreting mechanical and electrical drawings including original equipment manuals (1 Year)Knowledge of applicable electrical codes including NEC 70 and NFPA 70E (1 Year)Schedule: Monday-Sunday rotating days off 11pm - 7:30amPay rate: $34 to $42 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
