Must have knowledge and experience with all assembly requirements.Develops, maintains and improves most assembly processesEvaluates process specifications periodically to determine if they accurately reflect the process requirements and reviews process steps and reduces inefficienciesWorks with the Quality Engineers on process improvement, monitoring tools, root causes and corrective actions.Drives production schedules and process related problems to closureSupports engineering and the development labs with all new product introduction and developmentAssists in the compliance of safety regulations, i.e. ISO and business controlsProvides production ready documentation (MPIs) with equipment setup and programsLeads team in making process and efficiency improvementsHandles first calls in non-maintenance down issues and provides aids manufacturing support with implementing changesMonitors equipment performance and makes minor adjustments such as set-ups, calibrations and alignmentsClears minor machine difficulties and performs maintenance and repairs under supervision of technician, engineer or supervisorAssist operators by answering questions and demonstrating operationsSpot checks product to ensure quality levels are maintainedStays current working with manufacturing support on process and equipment changes and upgradesThis is a long-term contract opportunity.Schedule: Monday-Friday on-site in Milpitas, CA.Shift Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm PSTThe ideal candidate must have:A High School Diploma or equivalent GEDMinimum of 4 years of related manufacturing experience and the ability to use complex equipment, read difficult instructions and maintain written recordsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to effectively present information in small group situationsAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measureAbility to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphsAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule formDemonstrates advanced technical skillsDemonstrates knowledge of manufacturing line techniquesRequires the ability to use complex equipment, read difficult instructions and schematics, and maintain written recordsProactively assists supervisor in reaching goals/targets of the departmentAbility to make decisions or recommendations for teamActs independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignmentsRegularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and armsRequired to handle small componentsOccasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk and hearMust regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsPay Rate*: $28.00 per hour DOE*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
