Move Forward with Volt!Volt is immediately hiring for an Entry Level Design Engineer in San Diego, CAAs an Entry Level Design Engineer, you will:Create and maintain the Mechanical and Systems composite product designCan cover one or more of composite disciplines; electrical, hydro-mechanical, controls manufacturing, software and display, this position is aimed at the maintenance of Mechanical and Hydro-Mechanical product designThis is a Full-Time Temp to Hire opportunity.Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm plus overtime as needed. Must be able to work onsite every day.The ideal candidate will have:Bachelor's degree of Science in Engineering with a 3.0 minimum GPA The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of engineering drawings and drafting software programs, i.e. AutoCad or Cero.Excellent communication skillsExperience in working in a manufacturing environment or specifically with gas turbine control systems is a plus Knowledge of Oracle or other database tools is a plus.Pay Rate*: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
