Job Description
When you accept a position with Volo, you’ll be joining a passionate, driven group of innovators within the social sports industry. Hosts serve as representatives for Volo and its subsidiaries at facilities and bars and are the main point of contact for our players in leagues. This is a part time position, however, there are opportunities for advancement within the company.

League Host responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Serve as a representative for Volo at facilities and bars
- Update league scores in our user interface
- Promote events and upcoming leagues via social media and on-field selling
- Help distribute marketing materials
- Encourage and maintain a quality experience throughout the league
- Must be available at least 2 days per week evenings for at least eight weeks. Days and times vary based on Permits. Leagues vary start times from 5PM- 11:30PM Not all leagues will be until 11:30pm. We work with your schedule and have flexibility.
- Other league-day preparations, such as field setup and supervision
- Set up & take down fields and /or Bar set up
- Use the host app to check in players as needed
- Execute fundraising activities to support kid's programs
- Encourage and maintain a quality experience throughout the league
- Make players meet & feel welcome
- Build relationships with bartenders
Rate: Starting at $18.00 per hour
Must-Haves
- Be Outgoing. You will be speaking to players.
- Interest in sports and social activities
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Works well in a team atmosphere
- Ability to multi-task and make decisions under pressure
- Ability to lift and carry 30-50 pounds
- Possess a positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearly
- Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends
- Proficient customer service skills
- High School Diploma /GED Equivalency
- Access to Public Transportation
