The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for performing wide ranging recurring accounting duties as well as complex financial analysis and project support. Candidate will be a strategic partner role alongside the current Controller in the function of the finance department. They will serve as focal resource for accounts receivable, inventory, inventory controls and general ledger.
Specific duties and responsibilities
- Oversee Accounts Receivable process, through cash collection.
- Develop future state process working with Controller Group VP.
- Perform receivables cash application and daily bank cash management.
- Manage bank activities including bank reconciliations - withdrawals and deposits. Investigate and resolve discrepancies migrating from East West Bank to Citi Bank.
- Perform and manage approved inventory cycle counting process performing monthly audit.
- Prepare daily site management reporting including accounts receivable and other key metrics (tariffs, variances) as needed.
- Key finance representative in site periodic physical inventory audits.
- Support all annual and periodic external and internal audits.
- Update/maintain accurate inventory standards as required.
- Prepare monthly commission reports for outside sales contractors.
- Serve as key player in development of plant strategic plans, annual budget, and periodic forecasts.
- Perform detailed analysis of plant financials – P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow – investigate and report on variances and discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly cash forecasts and cashflow summaries.
- Perform various account/system analyses as requested by leadership.
- Reconcile G/L accounts as assigned.
- Serve as back-up for Controller role.
- Support regional finance leadership in FP&A and cross-site consolidation processes

Qualifications - Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years professional experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge off all Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Accounting Controls and Standards
- Epicor software or related ERP experience
Work environment and conditions
Employed in an office setting. However, this facility includes an electronics field service and manufacturing area that requires the use of safety devices including glasses with side shields and ESD equipment/clothing, when present in the designated area. Remote work is occasionally permissible, but position is mostly in-office.
