Are you looking for an exciting summer job where you can gain life-saving skills and work outdoors? Wet’N’Wild Water World is seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and alert individuals to join our 2026 Lifeguard Squad!

The Three Steps to Becoming a Lifeguard

Step 1: Mandatory Water Pre-Screening

All candidates must pass a physical pre-screening before attending training. This takes approximately 30 minutes (though there is no time limit). You will also complete an online manual review and a quick test at your convenience.

• Requirements: 200-yard continuous swim and a 10lb brick retrieval from 8–13 feet deep.
• Available Dates (No other dates will be added):

• March 7: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• March 14: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• March 21: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• March 28: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• March 29: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
• April 11: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• April 12: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Step 2: Certification Training Blocks

Candidates must attend all 3 days of a training block to become certified.

• March 20–22: Returning Guards Only
• March 27–29: Open to All
• April 10–12: Open to All
• April 17–19: Open to All

Step 3: Age & Start Dates

• Train at 15: You are eligible to attend pre-season training and orientation if you are 15 years old.
• Work at 16: You cannot work your first shift until your 16th birthday. (e.g., If you turn 16 on May 30th, you can train in April and begin working on May 30th).

Investment & Perks

• Certification: We provide full Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR training.
• Costs: A $40 deposit is due on the final day of training. The remaining balance is paid through small payroll deductions throughout the summer.
• Rewards: Competitive pay, free park admission on your days off, and an End of Season Bonus for those who complete the entire summer season!
