We're growing fast and looking for experienced journeyman plumbers to join our crew.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Journeyman Plumber at Our Client you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. You'll work independently or lead a small crew, upholding our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction on every job.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and related plumbing systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently and accurately
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and building plans
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local codes and safety regulations
• Communicate professionally with customers, explaining work performed and answering questions
• Collaborate with service managers and apprentices on job assignments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service vehicle
• Complete service documentation and job reports accurately and on time
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed
REQUIREMENTS
• Valid North Carolina Journeyman Plumber license (preferred)
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on plumbing experience
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with tankless water heaters, gas lines, and hydro-jetting equipment
• Familiarity with Charlotte-Mecklenburg plumbing code and permit process
• Prior experience mentoring or leading apprentice plumbers
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
