Description
The Auditor supports the integrity and effectiveness of organizational operations by analyzing and evaluating management and statistical data systems. This role assists with assessing the reliability, accuracy, and relevance of data to ensure sound decision-making and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Under structured guidance, the Auditor prepares detailed working papers and reports, along with supporting documentation, in accordance with the Office of Inspector General (OIG)'s policies and procedures. The Government Accountability Office's (GAO) Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book). The position collaborates closely with audit teams, contributing to the successful execution of audit engagements and the continuous improvement of oversight functions.
Requirements
Education/ Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting/Auditing, or a related field.
One to two (0-2) years of accounting/auditing experience.
