Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, steering, and electrical components.
- Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Specialize in diesel engine repair, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and heavy equipment mechanics to handle diverse vehicle types.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the service provided.
Experience
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership or independent shop settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, and transmission overhaul.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, suspension systems, and wheel alignment procedures.
- Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of diesel mechanics, brake repair including air brakes, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and oil change procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $36.00 - $54.00 per hour
