Lead Teacher/ Babysitter
Vogel Veterinary Childcare is an on site business childcare for Veterinary professionals employed at our facility. We are seeking passionate, nurturing, and experienced Lead Teacher to join our growing childcare team. We provide care for children ages 3 months through preschool in a safe, supportive, and developmentally appropriate environment.
As a Lead Teacher, you will play an important role in creating meaningful learning experiences, fostering positive relationships with children and families, and maintaining a classroom environment that promotes growth, exploration, and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Ensure compliance with all childcare policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to promote teamwork, consistency, and a positive classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children.
- Knowledge of child development and early childhood education practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification. (Preferred but course can be arranged if needed)
