What You’ll Do
- Operate and maintain a wide range of heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, backhoes, forklifts, etc.).
- Perform manual construction tasks when not operating equipment (digging, grading, formwork, concrete work, pipe installation).
- Follow safety procedures, attend safety meetings, and set the standard for safe operations.
- Support your crew by keeping equipment, tools, and work areas clean and maintained.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors to keep projects on track and meet quality standards.
- Experience with construction equipment operations (water/wastewater a plus).
- Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and safe work practices.
- Valid driver’s license required; certifications on equipment preferred.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and perform manual labor outdoors.
- Team player with solid judgment, problem-solving, and time management skills.
