Our Building Maintenance Coordinator manages and performs maintenance of company buildings, grounds, equipment, machinery, and utility systems. The coordinator also plans, budgets, and schedules facility repairs and modifications as well as completes service repair requests. The staff will coordinate with Production Director for sub-contractors and material suppliers to assure that quality and schedule requirements are met.

Available Position:
- Full-time; 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday; 7 am to 3 pm
- Wage: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Hiring Bonus: $1,000 (paid in one increment after six months of continued employment)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- · Perform minor routine painting, plumbing, and electrical and related activities
- · Remove snow and debris from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas
- · Service and repair cleaning and maintenance equipment and machinery
- · Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery using mowers and hand and power trimmers
- · Requisition supplies and equipment used in cleaning and maintenance duties
- · Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, etc. for special events
- · Replenish consumables in dispensers regularly, e.g. toilet paper, hand soap, hand towels, etc.
- · Clean floors, walls, ceilings, windows, building fixtures, and furniture using appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment
- · Gather and empty trash
- · Tend, clean, adjust and service furnaces, air conditioners, boilers and other building heating and cooling systems
- · Notify supervisor concerning need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
- · Participate in self-inspections of the physical plant and safety policies for safety compliance; provide input into corrective plan recommendations and implementation of approved recommendations
- · Keep organization's maintenance vehicles in good repair and safe operating order
- · Every month complete the vehicle safety checklist and mileage log
- · Replace burned out light bulbs in a timely fashion
- · Regular and punctual attendance during scheduled hours is essential
- · Respond or complete maintenance request forms in a timely manner due to importance and severity
- · Complete purchase orders for any maintenance receipts
- · Assist supervisor in acquiring bis for construction work needed
- · Maintain a safe and hazard-free environment
- · Will be the back up truck driver for production deliveries as needed
- · Will complete the DOT physical every 2 years

Requirements:
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- One years’ experience performing similar functions
- Completion of High School Diploma or GED
- Possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance
- Pass all background checks
- Ability to travel to various Vodec sites
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent in-person and electronic communication skills and interpersonal skills
