This role focuses on delivering speech-language pathology services within a school setting located in Novato, CA. The position supports students ranging from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade, with an assigned caseload of approximately 43 students. The assignment allows a maximum of two schools.
Responsibilities include providing direct speech therapy services, either in person or through teletherapy options, with openness to various service delivery methods. Supervision is provided by paraprofessionals, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN). Compliance with district onboarding requirements includes fingerprinting prior to start.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid SLPA or SLP licensure appropriate for school settings
- Experience with both in-person and teletherapy speech services
- Familiarity with school-aged populations (TK-8th grade)
- Ability to manage caseloads and coordinate with school support staff
- Strong communication and organizational skills for remote interviews and efficient workflow
