Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Waiter to join our vibrant food service team. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling procedures
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently and minimize wait times
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food safety and food industry best practices

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities without compromising guest experience
• Familiarity with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with reservation systems like OpenTable for efficient guest management
• Basic math skills for accurate check processing and cash handling
• Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for serving guests is essential
