Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage table settings, clear dishes, and assist with bussing to maintain a clean and inviting environment
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain food safety standards by following sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and timely service in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest bookings efficiently
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Support host/hostess duties when needed, welcoming guests and managing waitlists effectively
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife venues
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest engagement
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and cash handling tasks
- Familiarity with food industry standards including food preparation, serving techniques, and guest relations
- Previous experience in nightclub or hospitality settings is advantageous but not required
