Duties
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, establishing rapport to enhance guest relations.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using OpenTable or similar systems.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for checks.
- Adhere to food handling safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
- Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive service.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficient in using OpenTable or similar reservation systems is preferred.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and managing tabs effectively.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
