Job Overview
VO2 Logistics is actively seeking a full time dispatcher with experience in expedited automotive transportation services for a private asset carrier fleet. We are a growing company with many years of experience and offer a high quality service oriented solutions for carriers, brokers, and direct customers. The ideal candidate would thrive in a fast paced, challenging, and constantly moving environment. Speed and attention to detail are essential as you will use online software in multiple screens, tabs, applications, and communications. Software knowledge is required on these platforms: Full Circle TMS, Sylectus, RXO, Ascent, Outlook Email, and broker boards. Actively engaging in a team setting is required. As a team, VO2 works hard to surpass our customers needs which include: loads shipped within the hour and the ability to solve issues that arise during the loads 24/7 and 365 days per year. We enjoy working with people who can maintain a cool composure and help reduce the heat of the workflow. Maintaining a calm demeanor is required to assist customers and drivers operate in a high demand environment. We currently operate in a remote and hybrid setup, so a home office will be needed. Future plans include expanding into a location around the Grand Rapids, MI area, but will still offer flexibility based on your lifestyle and merit. We support and work with employees who dedicate attention to the growth and care of VO2 Logistics. Compensation will be negotiated based on experience in the field. Growth opportunies are based on performance are available including: hourly and salary positions, health benefits, bonuses, profit sharing, weekend commissions, and rewards based on sales. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule freight shipments using transportation management systems such as Full Circle TMS.
- Monitor fleet movements through GPS tracking and manage dispatching activities for trucks and drivers.
- Communicate with drivers, clients, and warehouse staff via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette and clear communication.
- Manage logistics documentation related to freight, shipping schedules, and delivery confirmations.
Requirements
- Proven experience with transportation management systems such as Full Circle TMS, Sylectus.
- Strong knowledge of GPS technology, and transportation planning principles.
- Proficient in data entry, typing skills, and managing multi-line phone systems with professional communication skills including phone etiquette.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with drivers, clients, and internal teams.
