Job Title: Shift Lead

Job Summary: The Shift Lead will oversee daily operations during their assigned shift, ensuring staff are supported, customers are satisfied, and company procedures are followed. This role serves as the key point of contact for team members during the shift and helps ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Dust/Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support team members during assigned shifts.
- Assign tasks and monitor productivity and performance throughout the shift.
- Open and/or close the store or facility, including cash handling and securing premises.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Complete daily reports, logs, or checklists as required.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
- Train new team members and provide on-the-job coaching as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with upper management regarding shift operations or issues.
- Ensure high levels of customer service and resolve any customer issues promptly
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience in a customer service or team leadership role.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills (if applicable).
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems or operational equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in administration or construction management are a plus.
- Education and Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
- High School diploma or GED
Physical Requirements:
- This role requires a combination of office and fieldwork, involving both sedentary tasks and moderate
- physical activity. The physical demands include, but are not limited Standing & Walking: Frequently required to stand and walk around job sites, warehouses, or
- production areas as needed.
- Sitting: Often sitting at a desk while working on reports, project plans, and communicating with
- stakeholders.
- Lifting & Carrying: Occasionally required to lift and carry materials, documents, or equipment
- weighing up to 15–25 lbs.
- Bending, Stooping & Kneeling: Occasionally required for proper lifting, inspecting job sites, or troubleshooting operational issues.
- Reaching & Handling: Frequent use of hands and arms to operate computers, tools, or other equipment.
- Climbing: May require occasional use of ladders or stairs to access different work areas.
- Visual & Auditory Requirements: Must be able to read project documentation, analyze blueprints,
- and effectively communicate in noisy industrial environments.
- Work Environment:
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be necessary in certain work areas.
- Potential exposure to dust, noise, and moving machinery requires adherence to safety protocols.
This position requires a balance between office-based responsibilities and on-site collaboration. The ability
to adapt to varying physical and environmental conditions is essential for success in this role.
