Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: VMX International LLC
????Schedule: Part-Time (20-30 hours per week, Monday-Thursday)
????Reports To: President/Controller
Salary $ 18.00 hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to support our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, preparing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payment of company obligations. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and will possess a strong aptitude for utilizing QuickBooks to manage / enter financial data accurately and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Review, verify, and enter vendor invoices into QuickBooks.
• Process bi-weekly check runs and ACH payments.
• Maintain accurate vendor files and records.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status.
• Monitor accounts payable aging and ensure timely payments.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of vendor management and payment processing.
