Job Summary:
We're looking for a friendly, motivated, and service-driven professional to join our team as a Customer Service Representative & Front Desk Receptionist. In this key role, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, delivering exceptional service and support both in person and over the phone. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and genuinely passionate about creating a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities (Training will be provided)
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers by answering inquiries, directing calls, and providing information about our auto body repair services.
- Customer Service: Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner. Assist with estimate requests, help customers file insurance claims, and physically check in vehicles during intake and assist with vehicle delivery, including customer check out and payment collection.
- Follow up with customers to schedule repairs and provide updates on vehicle repair status.
- Office Support: Perform general office tasks including filing, scanning, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized office and waiting area.
- Administrative Support: Contact insurance adjusters to confirm coverage, follow up on supplement approvals and payments.
- Computer Tasks: Utilize Microsoft Word, basic Excel, email, and shop management software to complete daily tasks.
- Accounts Payable (Entry-Level): Match invoices to statements, process vendor payments, and follow up on return credits.
- Take before-and-after photos of vehicles upon check-in and after repairs are completed.
Requirements
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive follow-up mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Previous experience in the collision repair or auto body industry is a plus, we're looking for someone who can adapt and take ownership of their role with minimal ongoing supervision or training.
- Experience with CCC One & writing estimates is a plus.
- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and shop management software.
- Comfortable typing at least 40 words per minute.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
