Are you an empathetic, dedicated nurse looking to play a key role in providing compassionate care to residents in a skilled nursing environment? At VMP, we're looking for Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for our brand new "weekend warrior" program
Let's talk about a weekend schedule that works for your life. We're open to three 12 hour shifts (Fri-Sun, Sat-Mon, or Sat/Sun and another day during the week), a traditional 8 hour shift of days/PMs/NOC, or some other combination that works for you but we haven't thought of yet We're looking for both nurses to work the unit, AND weekend supervisors.

1st Shift Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm
2nd Shift Hours: 2:00pm - 10:30pm
3rd Shift Hours: 10:00pm - 6:30am
LPN Hourly Compensation: $32-$37, dependent on experience
RN Hourly Compensation: $38-$48, dependent on experience
RN Supervisor Hourly Compensation: $40-$50, dependent on experience
$3.00/hr shift differential for 2nd Shift & 3rd Shift

Education Requirements:
- An active, valid LPN or RN license with the State of Wisconsin
Job Responsibility Overview:
- Documentation & Nursing Process: Independently completes required documentation, performs data collection, and tracks changes in residents' physical, psychological, social, and spiritual status. Collaborates with fellow nurses to evaluate care plans based on assessments and health status.
- Leadership & Coordination: Effectively coordinates multi-disciplinary activities, mentors CNAs, models safe practices, and provides leadership in identifying unsafe practices. Actively participates in employee orientation and supports unit committees.
- Professional Development & Skills: Seeks opportunities to improve nursing practice, performs duties competently according to nurse checklist, administers medications per policy, and responds to emergencies while collaborating with fellow nurses for further input.
- Resident-Centered Care & Communication: Organizes care to meet residents' physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, involves residents in self-care activities, and collaborates with physicians and therapists for health care teaching, rehabilitation, and discharge planning.
- Work Standards & Compliance: Maintains CPR certification, adheres to communication and confidentiality standards, and follows dress code and attendance policies. Provides detailed input for evaluations and adjusts performance based on feedback.
