What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse position at VMP Healthcare & Community Living?
Calling All Everyday Heroes: VMP Healthcare Needs a Super-Nurse
At VMP Healthcare, we believe not all heroes wear capes — some wear scrubs, carry med carts, and lead with compassion. If you're an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the leadership strength of Captain Marvel and the heart of a true caregiver, we need your superpowers
As an LPN Supervisor in our CBRF Assisted Living community, you'll be the guiding force behind a team of care champions — leading by example, keeping quality care at the forefront, and ensuring our residents live with dignity, safety, and joy.
Your Mission Includes:
- Master of Multi-Tasking: Oversees the entire facility when needed, stepping up in the absence of the administrator to keep operations smooth and care continuous.
- Resident Care Strategist: Assesses physical, emotional, and spiritual needs to ensure personalized and compassionate nursing care for all residents.
- Care Plan Commander: Monitors and ensures the implementation of nursing interventions that align with VMP policies and uphold the highest care standards.
- Emergency Responder Extraordinaire: Responds swiftly to emergency codes and crises, providing calm, effective leadership in high-pressure situations.
- Staffing Superpower: Assigns and adjusts staffing levels based on real-time resident needs to keep care seamless and balanced.
- Communication Champion: Delivers clear direction, provides honest feedback, and builds strong relationships with staff, families, and physicians alike.
- Mentor & Motivator: Trains, supports, and evaluates team members, sharing clinical knowledge and fostering professional growth.
- Problem-Solving Pro: Investigates incidents, assesses risks, and ensures timely interventions and safety follow-through for residents and staff.
- Knowledge Keeper: Maintains up-to-date expertise on healthcare practices, regulations, and quality standards to ensure compliance and excellence.
- Family & Resident Advocate: Supports families with care and empathy, ensuring residents receive not just medical attention, but emotional support and dignity.
Your Superpowers:
- Active LPN license in the state of Wisconsin
- Leadership or supervisory experience in long-term or assisted living care
- A heart for seniors and a passion for building strong, supportive teams
