QUALITY CONTROL FIELD TECHNICIAN

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Field Technician to join our Quality Control team. In this vital role, you will perform on-site testing and inspection of concrete and raw materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Your expertise will help maintain the highest quality standards across diverse construction projects. Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and testing of concrete to verify adherence to project specifications and industry standards like ASTM, and ACI.
• Collect and analyze data related to material properties, ensuring accuracy and consistency in testing procedures.
• Perform quality control assessments during construction activities, including concrete forming, construction site inspection, and construction materials testing.
• Maintain detailed records of test results, inspection reports, and data logs using Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Communicate findings clearly with project managers, contractors, and clients to facilitate timely decision-making and ensure compliance.
• Assist in the development and review of contracts related to construction inspection services.
• Support outdoor work activities across various construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven laboratory experience or hands-on experience with construction materials testing in a field environment.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM standards for concrete and materials testing as well as ACI and ASTM.
• Familiarity with construction site operations including concrete testing, raw materials testing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data collection, report writing, and record keeping.
• Basic math skills combined with good numeracy for precise measurements and calculations during testing procedures.
• Excellent analysis skills to interpret test results accurately and identify potential issues promptly.
• Prior outdoor work experience on construction sites is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members regarding technical findings.
• Construction experience involving cylinders and curing and testing
