Overnight prep cook

Grand Brasserie is seeking a dependable, organized, and passionate Overnight Market Sandwich Prep Cook to join our growing culinary team.

This position is responsible for producing high-quality grab-and-go sandwiches, wraps, breakfast items, salads, parfaits, and market products for one of New York City's busiest restaurants.

$19.00–$24.00 per hour
Based on experience.

• Full-Time
• Weekends & Holidays Required

• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, breakfast items, salads, and market products according to recipes.
• Portion meats, cheeses, vegetables, and condiments.
• Package, label, and date all products.
• Ensure all production is completed before market opening.
• Follow strict food safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain FIFO rotation and proper storage.
• Keep workstation clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

• 2–3 years of sandwich or prep cook experience preferred.
• High-volume kitchen experience is a plus.
• Strong knife skills.
• Ability to work independently overnight.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• NYC Food Handler Certificate preferred (or willingness to obtain).
