Provista is a leading group purchasing organization (GPO) and business solutions provider, specializing in supply chain management, procurement optimization, and operational efficiency for various industries, including non-acute healthcare, hospitality, and corporate sectors.

Summary:

In this role, you will lead healthcare growth for Vizient in the western region by driving revenue, expanding market presence, and strengthening client relationships. You will turn growth priorities into actionable sales strategies that boost engagement and produce measurable results. You will work closely with internal teams and apply your knowledge of regional market dynamics. You will guide the territory to consistent performance, influence key client decisions, and play a central role in shaping our regional strategy and new business success.

Responsibilities:

  • Proven ability to acquire new clients and drive growth in complex healthcare environments.

  • Build trust quickly and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with clients, partners, and C-suite leaders.

  • Uncover client needs and articulate clear value propositions focused on cost reduction, operational efficiency, and ROI.

  • Position multi-solution offerings-including GPO, analytics, purchased services, and consulting-as integrated, high-impact solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of group purchasing, supply chain operations, contracting, and purchased services.

  • Excel in developing territory plans, account strategies, and growth forecasts while managing high-velocity pipelines and long enterprise sales cycles.

  • Effective communicator who conveys complex concepts simply and persuasively across all audience levels, including boardrooms and large groups.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally within Vizient across contracting, marketing, implementation, analytics, and operations teams.

  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and documentation within Salesforce, with consistent achievement of sales targets and profitability goals.

  • Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously refine sales approaches.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience in sales category expertise/ spend management required.

  • Category subject matter expertise in areas such as Capital, PPI, Med/Surg, Pharmacy, or Purchased Services preferred.

  • Experience working with clinical departments that interact with supply chain preferred.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet the clients' needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
