Management Responsible for directing and managing all Warehouse staff and the overall daily management of the department. Supports, administers and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives. Creates effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction. Operations Responsible for oversight process of transferring and transporting all materials to designated locations between and within all user departments such as office furniture, records, recycling, etc. Protects and preserves assets of the company. Responsible for inspection of incoming materials against order and specification for correctness and defects and arranges for return of defective material. Compliance esponsible for ordering needed supplies and equipment, after gaining approval from manager, if required. Ensures the department has all necessary tools to complete tasks and that all equipment is in working order. Responsible for the training of all Warehouse staff, and ensuring they have adequate and appropriate access to required systems to perform their Assists in ensuring OSHA standards are followed by Warehouse staff. Education Associate Degree (A.A.) in related field; minimum of two years' receiving/distribution or equivalent discipline experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience Must be at least 21 years of age. Previous experience in receiving/distribution required. Must have the ability to operate a manual and automatic transmission automobile. Skills Must have knowledge of forklift and lift truck and receiving equipment. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word). Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
