Vixxo is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team in the Bloomfield, CT office.
THE ROLE
The Accounts Receivable Analyst is a key role within Vixxo to manage gross margin while maintaining cost effective facilities management solutions. The AR Analyst will report directly to the AR Manager. The main objective of the role is reconciling A/R customer balances, addressing system challenges, and analyzing the billed and unbilled invoices to minimize exposure. To best achieve these objectives, the analyst will need to work with their manager to achieve Customer and Vertical specific KPIs and utilize automation and AI solutions along with their work experience. The role requires working closely with billing, account teams and IT to drive departmental and organizational success.

Top Responsibilities
- Facilitate preparation and presentation of A/R account reconciliations to identify and resolve complex customer accounts issues including short-pays, credits, unapplied payments, and system issues. Escalate issues to finance, account leadership or IT as needed while working closely with customer and internal partners.
- Adhere to department workflow standards to maximize collection of past due receivables and reduce unbilled balances. Organize applicable information necessary to collect payment.
- Subject matter expert in ORMB for cash application, working closely with the IT team and other colleagues to streamline processes and resolve issues.
- Prepare and participate on calls to review customer aging with key stakeholders. Build relationships with customer contacts.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 years relevant work experience; understanding of Accounting processes.
- Understanding of work order management systems and workflow, i.e. Corrigo, Service Channel, etc.
- Advanced Excel Skills.
- Ability to effectively establish priorities and develop clear objectives, goals, and action plans to meet or exceed company and customer expectations within a fast-paced environment and with minimal direction/management.
- Excellent communication skills and business acumen.
- Ability to create a strong sense of cooperation and teamwork throughout the organization.
