What You’ll Own
This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing all 2nd shift operations, including:
- Window fabrication & assembly
- Glass operations
- Materials & loading
- Maintenance teams
What You’ll Do
- Lead Daily Performance: Drive results across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) with a continuous improvement mindset
- Champion Safety: Build and reinforce a culture where safety is non-negotiable
- Be Present on the Floor (Gemba): Observe, engage, and solve problems in real time
- Solve Problems That Matter: Use structured problem-solving (PDCA) to eliminate root causes—not just symptoms
- Develop People: Coach supervisors, team leads, and operators into stronger leaders
- Drive Lean Transformation: Embed Lean principles into everyday operations
- Own the Culture: Deliver clear communication, accountability, and alignment across departments
- Execute with Urgency: Manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field
- 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing
- 2–3 years leading teams in a Lean Manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to drive safety, performance, and accountability
- Strong problem-solving mindset with experience in structured methodologies
- Ability to lead from the floor—not just the office
- A coach, mentor, and motivator who builds high-performing teams
