About the role:
Vivvi is seeking a Vice President of Finance to serve as a key member of the leadership team and strategic thought partner to the CEO. The VP of Finance will lead all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance management; own monthly and quarterly reporting cycles; and build scalable financial processes that support Vivvi's continued growth. They will collaborate with our Controller (contractor), Campus Operations, B2B Services, and senior leadership to ensure the organization meets its financial goals. This individual will play a central role in shaping Vivvi's long-term strategy, play a key part in decision making across the company and will interface with investors and the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities
Operations and Reporting
- Collaborate with Campus, Platform, Enrollment, HR, and Executive teams to drive operational excellence
- Own the company's financial planning processes, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecast, and long-range planning
- Lead the monthly close-to-reporting cycle in partnership with Accounting, ensuring timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights
- Conduct margin analyses, pricing evaluations, and cost optimization reviews
- Support sales and partnerships with financial modeling, unit economics, and custom scenarios
- Translate complex financial information into clear, accessible insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to external stakeholders, including investors and lenders
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting that track performance across campuses, programs, and central functions
- Partner with Campus and functional leaders to drive accountability to budget, identify risks and opportunities, and improve unit-level economics
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on enrollment, labor, and contribution margins to inform pricing, staffing, and expansion decisions
- Attend and present financial information at all Board of Directors meetings
- Lead evaluation and execution of M&A and strategic investment opportunities
- Build and maintain acquisition and integration models
- Partner with the executive team on deal strategy, valuation, and negotiation
- Manage relationships with lenders and investors, including regular updates, performance tracking, and compliance with reporting requirements
- Lead capital stack planning and strategy
- Lead financial evaluation of new campuses, partnerships, and strategic initiatives, including due diligence, underwriting and return analysis
- Build and maintain new site ramp models and scenario analyses for expansion planning

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred but not required
- Track record of building and scaling finance processes, systems, and teams
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear insights
- Experience building and maintaining financial models
- Ability to synthesize complex financial information and communicate it with stakeholders, including financial and non-financial audiences
- Experience working to prepare reports/memos for boards and investors
- Are collaborative and thrive in a team environment
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with due diligence processes and deal structuring
- 10 years of experience in finance, with significant ownership of FP&A, operating models, and business partnering
- Experience in multi-unit, service-based, or operationally complex businesses (e.g., child care/education, wellness, hospitality, retail or services)
- Strong business judgment with the ability to connect financial insights to operational decisions
- High fluency in unit economics, scenario planning, and investment analysis
