Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Bindery Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a background in bindery operations and be proficient in operating machinery to produce high-quality print products. This role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of bindery machines, including folders, cutters, and presses to produce finished products.
- Load and unload materials, such as paper, fabric, and plastic, onto bindery machines.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on bindery equipment.
- Read and work orders to ensure accurate production of printed materials.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and high-quality production of print materials.
This position works four ten (10 hour) day per week.
Qualifications:- Two (2) years of experience in bindery operations or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in operating, stack cutters, collaters, creasers and other bindery manufacturing equipment.
- This position requires the ability to work overtime as needed.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Salary : $18 - $23
