About the role:
We are looking for a responsible and organized Purchasing Analyst to join our Operations team. You will play a key role in improving and analyzing our purchasing processes for a growing e-commerce company. Your main duties will include:
- Performing forecasting and issuing purchase orders based on demand.
- Coordinating with product development, quality, and artwork departments to ensure orders move through the system efficiently.
- Analyzing costs and managing invoicing documentation.
- Negotiating with vendors throughout the purchasing process.
- Assisting the team in improving key performance indicators (KPIs).
Who you are:
You're a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working independently and with a team. You have an analytical mind, able to analyze data to determine the best course of action for day-to-day purchasing issues. You can understand and apply various forecasting models and are always looking for ways to improve existing systems.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a purchasing or a related supply chain role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
