Job Summary:
Reporting to the Executive President and General Counsel and partnering closely with the CEO, COO/CIO and HR Vice President, the Paralegal performs a variety of functions in support of legal matters, contracts and agreements, policies, compliance and coordination with internal and external legal counsel. The Paralegal will provide day-to-day support on a multitude of topics and must be highly organized and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Paralegal will work with leaders across the organization and must provide outstanding service and develop strong professional relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
Responsibilities:
- Intake/triage of legal requests; matter tracking and document management.
- Contract lifecycle support (drafting from templates, red lines, routing, signatures, repository upkeep).
- BAA/NDA administration and vendor onboarding support.
- Sensitive HR-related support (policy reviews and management, letters, investigations, logistics, documentation).
- Compliance support (HIPAA/PHI handling protocols; audit prep; template/playbook maintenance).
- Legal process management (subpoenas, litigations/disputes, insurance coverage).
- Calendar/filings, meeting notes, and cross-functional coordination using different platforms such as (SharePoint/Monday.com).
- Liaison with inside and outside counsel and vendors as needed.
- Performs related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
- Regular attendance.
- Travel as required.
Other Functions
- Assist with the enforcement of Company policies and safety procedures.
- Regularly updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Assist with maintenance of IPA, Health Plan compliance standards.
Competencies
- 3–5 years paralegal experience (healthcare or payer/provider preferred).
- Strong redlining, organization, and confidentiality discipline; HIPAA familiarity.
- Proficiency with DocuSign (or similar), Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Monday.com, and contract repositories.
- Superior communication skills both oral and written.
- Excellent active listening and critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to solve mid-level problems with minimal supervision.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism, confidence and dependability.

Education and Licensure
- BA or BS related discipline is required.
- Paralegal certification is preferred.
Salary : $71,000 - $85,000
