Help operators to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, tractors components, tooling issues & maintaining manufacturing process
min 3 yrs exp highly preferred
On the floor rather than desk
Recent grads with shop floor, manufact engineering exp is required
Exp in exp formulaes, python, matlab, labview will be helpful
looking to fill it immediately, (Not willing to wait for Dec 2025 grads)
Teams interview will be okay for non locals
Major Purpose
Plans, coordinates, and performs manufacturing engineering work for a project or process. Operates in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process. At this level, projects are of limited scope and responsibility; work plans and decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors and/or managers. May assign coordinate and review portions of the work for support personnel and contractors.
Major Duties
Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the analysis of information and the specification of the methods and process steps, as well as the plant, machinery, and equipment, required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems.
Contribute to the development of, and implement feasibility testing of, proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design.
Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards.
Carry out inspections under the supervision of senior colleagues to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures, and make recommendations to senior colleagues on the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan.
Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them.
Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice.
Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products.
Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
Degree in Industrial Technology or Engineering
Open to recent grad candidates with manufacturing internships
Prefer candidates with:
Software programming experience
Hands on experience working in a manufacturing environment
Great decision making skills
Physical Requirements:
-70% time spent on feet within the factory.
Will drive a client Gator inside the factory (after safety training is completed).
May use personal vehicle for traveling to other client facilities.
Notes:
1st shift, 7 am to 3:30 pm
Overtime: Dependent on production levels
Will need metatarsal safety boots for first day
