Essential Job Functions
Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels; conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records.
Utilize inventory software to update records and track stock movements accurately.
Warehouse Organization:
Efficiently organize warehouse space to ensure safe and easy access to materials and products.
Implement and maintain organization systems that improve efficiency and reduce material handling time.
Record Keeping:
Keep meticulous records of all inventory movements, including receipts, shipments, returns, and disposals.
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all inventory data.
Order Processing Support:
Assist in processing incoming and outgoing orders to ensure timely availability of materials for production and fulfillment of customer orders.
Quality Control:
Inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy, promptly reporting any issues or discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines within the warehouse setting.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Reporting:
Generate regular reports on inventory status, including discrepancies, adjustments, and other relevant activities, to keep management informed.
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in inventory management or related field is a plus.
Previous experience in inventory management or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or construction environment.
Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate record-keeping.
