Viti Volvo Cars Tiverton is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician / Mechanic to join our top-of-the-class luxury service team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advanced Diagnostics & Repair: Efficiently diagnose, maintain, and repair complex vehicle automotive systems—including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning—to manufacturer standards.
• Routine & Preventative Maintenance: Promptly perform precision routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, comprehensive tune-ups, multi-wheel alignments, and complete brake service repairs.
• Quality & Safety Inspections: Inspect, road-test, and evaluate both customer vehicles and new inventory for necessary adjustments, ensuring a flawless and safe driving experience prior to customer handover.
• Technical Documentation: Systematically and accurately input diagnostic data, repair steps, and recommended maintenance into the shop’s computerized management systems.
• Clear Team Communication: Collaborate seamlessly with Service Advisors and parts team members to deliver accurate repair timelines and transparent cost estimates for clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: Minimum 1 years of professional automotive repair experience as a technician, mechanic, or equivalent hands-on role.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong mechanical aptitude, advanced troubleshooting skills, and a solid working knowledge of modern diagnostic and repair equipment.
• Digital Literacy: Ability to effectively operate diagnostic scanners and input repair order details into computer-based dealership systems.
• Professional Mindset: Detail-oriented, highly customer-focused, and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment.
• Requirements: * Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean, insurable driving record.
• Ability to successfully pass a standard pre-employment drug screen and BCI background check.

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience working on luxury import or European vehicles.
• Existing ASE Certifications or prior manufacturer-specific training.
