About Us

We are a premier, mobile marine repair company dedicated to keeping boaters on the water. We pride ourselves on executing dealership-level diagnostics and repairs right at the customer’s slip, driveway, or marina. We don't just fix boats; we provide peace of mind through structured checklists, transparent communication, and exceptional technical expertise.

We are expanding our team and looking for a self-motivated, technically sharp Mobile Marine Technician who takes pride in their craftsmanship and enjoys the freedom of the road over being stuck in a dark shop.

Position Overview

As a Mobile Marine Technician, you will operate independently out of a fully equipped, specialized quick-response service vehicle. You will diagnose, service, and repair a wide variety of marine propulsion, electrical, fuel systems etc. Because you are the face of the company on-site, a professional demeanor and excellent customer-service skills are just as important as your mechanical talent.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Perform advanced electrical diagnostics, isolate fuel system issues, and pinpoint mechanical failures on a variety of marine engines.

Maintenance & Repair: Execute routine maintenance, all applicable repairs, and winterization/summarization procedures.

System Knowledge: Work comfortably on modern four-stroke outboards (Yamaha, Mercury, etc.), legacy two-strokes, and inboard/outboard gas/diesel engines.

Documentation: Follow structured mechanical checklists and document clear, accurate notes on work orders for customer transparency and billing accuracy.

Equipment Care: Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service truck/trailer and toolset.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 3 years of professional marine mechanical experience (outboards, inboards, and general boat systems).

Technical Certifications: Manufacturer certifications (Yamaha, Mercury/Mercruiser, Suzuki, etc.) or a degree from a marine technical school are highly preferred.

Electrical Proficiency: Strong understanding of marine electrical systems, wiring, and reading schematics.

Independence: Proven ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve efficiently without direct, hands-on supervision.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and maneuver comfortably in tight boat bilges and engine spaces.

Licensing: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (comfortable towing/maneuvering a service trailer is a major plus).

What We Offer

Top-Tier Compensation: Highly competitive pay reflecting your skill level and experience.

Premium Equipment: Work out of a modern, organized, and fully customized mobile service setup equipped with the specialized tools you need to succeed.

Independence & Variety: No two days are the same. Enjoy the freedom of managing your job sites across beautiful coastal New England.

Growth Opportunities: Be a foundational part of a growing business with room for long-term career advancement.
