What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dance Instructor position at Vitality In Motion?
Vitality In Motion is hiring our newest teaching artist who is passionate about making the art of dance accessible to all. Vitality In Motion is a leader in accessible dance for seniors. We help seniors live a healthier and more active life through meaningful, fun, energizing dance classes, all from their chair or wheelchair. We are hiring 2 to 3 instructors for steady year-round teaching, who have a background in any and all styles of dance (from ballet, jazz, modern, ballroom, Latin, etc...).
We hire energetic, reliable and enthusiastic personalities to teach our classes. You must have a lot of energy to share with our seniors, and experience teaching dance of any style.
This position is open immediately, and we are moving quickly! Classes are daytime only with no evenings. Classes are 45-minutes in short morning and afternoon windows directly at our senior living communities. Most instructors teach between 4 to 10 classes per week. No classes after 3pm!
You must be comfortable in front of a crowd and leading a dance class. Personality is key! You must be HIGHLY ENERGETIC, friendly, articulate, reliable and professional. You must have reliable transportation. You must be professional, organized and reliable.
