A major New Jersey municipality is seeking an accomplished Director of Finance to oversee all aspects of municipal financial management, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, debt administration, and internal controls. - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Public/Business Administration; or current New Jersey Municipal Finance Officer (MFO) certification
- Minimum five years of supervisory experience in accounting, budgeting, auditing, or financial analysis
- Strong knowledge of governmental accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Municipal or other public-sector finance leadership experience
- New Jersey Municipal Finance Officer (MFO) certification
- Experience with bond issuances, debt management, and capital planning
