JOB SUMMARY: The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive healthcare services, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of male health issues. The NP works collaboratively with other healthcare providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, educate patients, and ensure a supportive and professional clinical environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations with a focus on men's health.
- Diagnose and treat conditions due men's health concerns.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on clinical assessment.
- Administer or oversee in-office treatments.
- Monitor the effectiveness of treatments and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Address sensitive issues with compassion and professionalism, helping patients understand their conditions and the best paths forward.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, documenting patient encounters, diagnosis, and treatments.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA, in maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the clinic’s medical staff, including medical assistants and technicians, to provide coordinated and efficient care.
- Exhibit exemplary bedside manner and establish rapport with patients in caring manner.
- Evaluate and manage men's health issues using proprietary medical protocols developed by the medical director.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the State.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- Ability to perform and interpret diagnostic tests and administer treatments, such as ICP and PRP injections as well as medications.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, especially in discussing sensitive health topics with patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Ability to move between examination rooms and perform medical procedures. Must be comfortable performing minor procedures.
