About the Role:
The Infusion Nurse Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, responsible for overseeing clinical nursing operations related to home infusion services. This role includes supervising and supporting infusion nursing staff, coordinating patient schedules, and ensuring safe, evidence-based infusion practices. The Infusion Nurse Manager will assess patient needs, provide direct infusion care as needed, and collaborate with pharmacists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans. Daily responsibilities also include monitoring quality and compliance, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and participating in staff education and performance improvement initiatives. The role requires consistent communication with patients and families to promote understanding, safety, and adherence to therapy.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Nursing and Patient Care skills, with demonstrated experience in direct clinical care.
- Candidates should possess Nursing Management skills, including staff supervision, scheduling, and performance oversight.
- Candidates should possess Medicine and Critical Care Medicine knowledge relevant to infusion therapies and complex conditions.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee, in good standing.
- Experience in infusion therapy, home health, or specialty pharmacy settings is preferred.
- Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and IV therapy skills, including venous access management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education abilities, with a compassionate approach to care.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation; familiarity with regulatory and safety standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and adapt to changing patient and organizational needs.
