Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse or EMT-P with Infusion experience to join our healthcare team. As a Infusion nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing infusion therapy, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective treatment plans. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles and a passion for delivering patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor infusion therapies, including medications and treatments, in accordance with physician orders.
- Conduct pre- and post-infusion assessments to identify potential risks and ensure patient safety.
- Document medical information accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to medical documentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized infusion area, adhering to sterile processing and infection control guidelines.
- Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and stay current with ongoing education and training.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a LPN or EMT-P in the state of Tennessee.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
