The Policy Verification Specialist is responsible for reviewing, validating, and confirming the accuracy of data, documentation, or transactions to ensure compliance with company workflow to ensure timely payroll and invoice processing. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities:
-Verify the accuracy of customer/client information, job requests and all respective job details by cross-referencing records
- Confirm all jobs for completion and verification of hours to ensure timely billing
- Communicate with internal teams or customer/clients to resolve discrepancies or request additional information
- Maintain thorough records of all verifications, corrections, and approvals
- Follow established protocols for escalation methods
- Promptly assist Accounts Receivable staff with incomplete job orders by contacting customer/client and obtaining missing job details
- Collaborate with team members to improve verification procedures and maintain data integrity
- Support accounts receivable during high volume seasons
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, Associate’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in data verification, quality assurance, or administrative support
- Outstanding “people skills” with an energetic, driven personality
- Strong telephone skills with active listening ability
- Passion for working with prospects and customers
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
