Pay: 

Full Care offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon new hire experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.  

Role Overview:  

The Onsite Landscape Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, health, and appearance of landscape areas on a designated commercial property. This individual performs a variety of groundskeeping tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and attractive environment year-round. 

Key Responsibilities (including but are not limited to): 

• Edge walkways, curb lines, and landscape beds
• Prepare flower beds for seasonal planting
• Remove spent seasonal annual flowers
• Maintain and water seasonal flowers and plantings
• Perform hand-pulling of weeds from beds
• Apply crack and crevice herbicide treatments
• Apply pre-emergent herbicides to landscape beds
• Perform detailed bed and tree ring edging
• Prune ground cover and low-growing shrubs
• Conduct seasonal winter tree pruning
• Support site-wide spring clean-up efforts
• Pick up and dispose of trash and debris from landscape areas
• Cut back perennials and ornamental grasses as needed

Work Schedule: 

• Full-time, Monday through Friday 40 hours per week
• Some weekend or early morning work may be required during peak seasons

Requirements: 

• Minimum 1 year of experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or janitorial work (preferred but not required)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions
• Familiarity with landscaping tools such as blowers, mowers, trimmers, and hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to keeping outdoor areas clean and presentable
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently or on a team
• Basic knowledge of plant care and irrigation systems is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation if travel between sites is required
