Riverside Services offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $21 to $27 an hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon new hire experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Role Overview
The Crew Member – Construction must have a positive, can-do attitude, be an eager learner, be conscious of safety requirements, work effectively as a team member, dress appropriately, be punctual, and follows all instructions given by the Crew Leader, who this position will report directly to.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow all instructions given by the Landscape Crew Leader.
- Thoroughly understand and comply with company policy and safety manual.
- Report on any/all unsafe conditions or accidents.
- Properly and safely operate equipment as instructed.
- Work in a safe manner and reports any/all unsafe conditions to Crew Leader.
- Be a willing learner who seeks to master the basic skills of landscape construction.
- Report to work in a clean, appropriate uniform and wearing the appropriate boots.
- Able to communicate with supervisor in a timely and thorough manner.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and per company production rates.
- Able to use basic tools safely and properly: shovel, grading rake, spade, grub hoe, wheelbarrow, sod roller, etc.
- Advanced understanding of landscape construction or the ability to learn and follow instruction.
- Possess a clean driver’s license and must be insurable on company’s insurance policy.
- Have a clean criminal record.
- Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility.
- Physically able to handle the workload of a Construction Laborer and have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
- Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
- Have reliable transportation to/from work.
- Have an OSHA 10 Certificate or ability to obtain one in 30 days.
- Ability to obtain a MA DOT card within 30 days of hiring.
