Job Description
The Senior Credit Manager oversees the credit granting process. Some key responsibilities include evaluating credit risk, setting credit limits, monitoring accounts, developing risk management strategies, managing credit policies, relationship management and handling collections. The Senior Credit Manager performs all duties while complying with company standards and all applicable laws/regulations. There is a focus on Direct to Consumer, Online Payments, and project work for our Credit Card Payment Portal.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related
5-7 years of credit/accounts receivables experience in B2B environment
1 year of people management experience
Compensation
$110,000 - $115,000 base salary 30% annual incentive potential

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct in-depth credit analysis of financial statements and credit reports to determine the creditworthiness and risk of potential and existing customers.
- Establish credit limits and terms for customers based on their creditworthiness.
- Monitor accounts to detect late payments or defaults and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement strategies to manage and mitigate credit risk, ensuring the institution maintains a healthy balance between risk and profitability. Proactively contribute to automated solutions and reporting.
- Create and enforce credit policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Work closely with sales, collections, and other departments to manage accounts and resolve credit-related issues.
- Maintain and develop relationships with high-volume and complex accounts through regular interactions.
- Manage bad debt customers and enforce collections strategies to minimize delinquency ratios.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
